What's the MAIN Goal of Your SEO Program?

It's a question we often ask our clients and we usually get some standard responses such as:

  • We need better visibility on the Internet
  • To enhance brand awareness
  • Drive more search traffic to our site
  • Optimize our already stretched marketing budget - spend less on offline marketing
  • Beat the competition - our competitors are stealing our cheese!
  • Get more leads through our site

All of these are valid reasons and good objectives to run a search engine optimization (SEO) program. As we have seen in many cases though, you can drive all the traffic in the world to your website and still be conversion-deprived. That's just not any good at all. The one, overarching goal, therefore, that should encompass all of these is to have an integrated online marketing strategy with measurable results and return on investment.

How do you achieve that? With consistently good content that adds value and connects with your target audience.

Building a Sustainable SEO Content Marketing Strategy

Let's ask a few pertinent questions here. Publishing valuable content is not easy.
Does it take effort? Yes.
Does it take time. Certainly.
Does it require skilled resources? Of course!

Is it expensive? Not if you consider the return on investment and the damage that poor quality content can cost you.

What is it worth in the end? If it is done the right way - it's worth more than you can count!

Think about what a happy customer is worth. What is a referral from a satisfied customer worth? What value will you attach to a prospect that regularly interacts with you through social media and other online touch points, gradually progressing through the sales cycle towards conversion.

Are you likely to fail sometimes or not score as high as you want? That too. But as Jonathan Mildenhall, VP Global Creative at Coca Cola says, "If you don't have the room to fail, you don't have the right to grow."

At MintCopy, we want you to be more successful with your SEO strategy. We want your SEO content to fail less and win more. We want to help your online marketing efforts to get more bang for the buck and not fall easy and frequent prey to the almighty Google's changes and algorithm updates. Enough of that already! Adaptive SEO is not rocket science; it is a realistic, but painstakingly careful way of conducting organic search marketing for your business.

That Should Be Your Goal when You Write Content with Empathy

Consumers are bombarded with content. It’s not just text-based content like blog posts and web pages. It’s estimated that over 95 million photos and videos are shared every day on Instagram. Over 500 million Tweets are posted each day. The average office worker receives upwards of 120 emails per day. Making your content stand out is getting more difficult by the day. Creating content that resonates with your audience is even more challenging. When a reader reads your blog or email, what is the takeaway? If you can’t make them remember the words, you can leave them with a feeling that you understand their needs. Empathy is a powerful weapon in the content toolbox.

With everything going on in the world, you may be wondering if people care about grammar and spelling on your website and social media channels. Here’s the thing—people now have more time to notice errors in online content. Smashed Media estimates that “grammatical mistakes on websites can reduce sales by up to 50%.” Quality Logo Products reports that 42.5% of over 1,000 social media users who were surveyed about spelling mistakes would not purchase goods on websites that had misspellings. It’s not as though your audience comprises of language experts and schoolteachers, but consumers want to see that your brand cares about the details, even the seemingly unimportant details like grammar and spelling in digital content.
